Erasmus – The way forward and the Green Paper on mobility of young people
Welcome to a two-day conference to discuss the mobility of young people and the Erasmus programme
Lund, Sweden, 5th to 6th October 2009
The Swedish national agency for the Lifelong Learning Programme "Internationella Programkontoret" in cooperation with the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission will organise a conference on the Erasmus programme and the Green Paper on mobility under the Swedish Presidency, at the University of Lund on 5th and 6th October 2009.
The conference will consist of a plenary session followed by workshops and a closing session.
It will allow for a discussion on how to improve the mobility of young people in general and focus more specifically on the Erasmus programme, current challenges and future outlook. Topics will include promotion, funding, simplification of administrative procedures, recognition problems, and university-enterprise cooperation – in relation to the overall theme of the Swedish presidency: “jobs, growth and competitiveness”.
